Composition Bank is a terrific way to support new music. It’s your chance to make a donation towards the cost of a new work that Psappha will perform during its 2022-23 Manchester season. You can give in your own name or as a gift to a friend or family member.
The minimum donation to Psappha’s Composition Bank is £100 per work. The benefits for the donor are:
- Your name listed in the front of the score;
- Invitation to a workshop or rehearsal of the new work – your chance to meet the composer and musicians and to hear the work as it develops;
- The option to buy a signed copy of the score; and
- A certificate to confirm your support, made out in your name or in the name of the person to whom you’re making a gift.
Donations will attract Gift Aid where applicable.
Next Steps: if you have any questions about the scheme please email Psappha’s Managing Director Sally Cook or you may make a donation now through the secure link below and we will contact you.
Support Psappha’s Commissioning Programme
Psappha celebrates its 30th Anniversary this season and as part of our celebrations we will commission 7 new works. The new pieces will be premiered at Hallé St Peter’s in February and March 2022 and will also be filmed so we can share them through our YouTube Channel.
We have supported hundreds of composers and inspired audiences across the world with music created in the heart of Manchester by world class musicians. Some examples of works supported through Composition bank can be found on this page.
Please help us keep music alive by supporting our commissioning programme.
