Katy Boulton joined Psappha in 2013 and is the group's Development Manager.
After gaining a first class music degree from Oxford Katy began her career leading creative education projects for Welsh National Opera. She then spent eight years making TV documentaries for a range of broadcasters including the BBC, ITV and Channel 4. Katy moved from television production into media policy in 2001 as the ITC's and then Ofcom's representative in the north of England, and in 2005 joined Ofcom's Public Service Broadcasting team. Leaving Ofcom in 2008 Katy became a freelance consultant and was appointed Content Director of the Nations and Regions Media Conference between 2010 and 2013. As well as working with Psappha Katy continues to provide consultancy advice to broadcasters on media policy and compliance issues.
As Development Manager Katy is responsible for generating support from a range of funding partners and works closely with the General Manager to implement Psappha's strategic vision.
